Set in 1960, the year of the Rome Olympics, a 13 year-old boy with aspirations to become an athlete befriends an ageing, disabled bus driver who understands his ambitions.

Splendor is the name of an old movie theater managed by Jordan (Mastroianni), who inherited it from his father. The theater is in decay and only generates debts and trouble, but Jordan gets aid in his almost quixotian quest from projectionist Luigi (Troisi) and ushurette Chantale (Vlady). However, Jordan is finally forced to sell the Splendor to businessman Lo Fazio (Piperno), which plans to transform it in some kind of furniture store. When Jordan leaves the theater for the last time (the very first scene), he recalls the glorious days of Splendor and movies in general.

Tadushepa grows from a young princess from the Mitanni kingdom to the legendary Queen Nefertiti of Egypt. The film starts with the discovery of her bust by a German archaeologist in 1912 and then turns the time back to the moment just before she is married to the old Pharaoh Amanophis III. She must say goodbye to her lover, the sculptor Yame. But in Egypt she appears to have a great talent for power. After the death of Amanophis she collapses on the heir to the throne Akhematon.

Two BKA investigators fly to Italy to arrest the ex-RAF terrorist Amigo Steiger, who has gone into hiding there. The arrest ends in bloodshed. Steiger escapes and travels to Hamburg to find out who betrayed him...

In a story that follows some lives and their respective reincarnations over time, Valerio is a prince in the year one thousand and a doctor of the S.e.r.t. in the year two thousand. Altea on the other hand is a princess, who after a thousand years was reincarnated as a university student who volunteers as a mission and it also operates in the same S.e.r.t.. Their antagonist, in the past as in the present, is a man who was an alchemist and who today is the evil director of the same hospital where the S.e.r.t. is located. of Valerio and Altea. A rather anomalous director, given that he takes advantage of the cover offered by his position to traffic drugs in a big way. A fourth character is added to the three, Herrmugnen, who in the story embodies the mythological figure of the giant hero.

Sergio has a degree in botanics, but cannot find a job. Then, he gets the announcement that his former girlfriend is getting married.
