Lyra is an orphan who lives in a parallel universe in which science, theology and magic are entwined. Her search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children and turns into a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust. She is later joined on her journey by Will, a boy who possesses a knife that can cut windows between worlds. As she learns the truth about her parents and her prophesied destiny, the two young people are caught up in a war against celestial powers that ranges across many worlds.

Lively Joyce Conway is happy with her life: her boyfriend Conor loves her, she enjoys her job behind the scenes at the local radio station and her relationship to father could not be better. But everything is turned upside down after she has an accident requiring a blood transfusion. She subsequently wakes up with memories that are not hers.

It is 1944 and the D-Day invasion has failed, Germany's army have successfully invaded England and the Nazi war-machine is now heading west towards Wales. A group of women in an isolated Welsh village near the English border wake up to discover all of the their husbands have mysteriously vanished. They have headed into the mountains to join the Resistance.

This comedy revolves around two brothers, both wonderful chefs, who fall out catastrophically. At the climax of their dispute they rip the family recipe book in half - one brother gets the starters and the other gets the main courses. They set up rival restaurants, across the road from each other, and spend the next twenty years trying to out-do each other. Neither brother will admit it but they both know they are not entirely successful in the 'other half' of the menu. It takes a daughter - a successful corporate lawyer marrying a man from a very different background - to reunite them. She is planning her marriage and is determined that they will both cook the wedding banquet.

The lives of a couple turn into a nightmare, as dark forces lie in wait beneath the shadows of the haunted bungalow in which they have decided to stay.

Despite her upcoming nuptials, she falls head over heels in love with Karan, and grows up immediately. She has already committed to someone else, and family honor is not a game she can win.

Rahul is a college-going boy who has always longed for the attention and love of his parents, which he feels deprived of. When he meets sexy Sohini, his forgets his loneliness and his mind gets obsessed with her thoughts. A new desire to live works within him. But that Rahul loves her remains unknown to Sohini, the results of which are strange or mysterious events occurring in her life. Whether Rahul is able to win the heart of Sohini or not, forms the climax of the story.

Exasperated at being stuck on a piano Rhapsody he's been writing for seven years, Sol pushes himself over the edge, having an hallucination of a mysterious young woman. Soon, Sol discovers that he has brain tumors, and a risky operation is his only means of survival. Initially deciding to go through with the surgery, things change when he meets Sofia, the woman from his vision. She urges Sol not to have the operation because the tumors aren't what they seem. Unable to fathom her strange appearance, he starts out to discover the nature of these events - unearthing what The Rhapsody really is.

Pela Adhi Akshar is a coming-of-age feel-good film that tries to explore the space between boys and girls, fact and fiction, reality and fantasy, and life and film. It is also everybody's story, an introspective look at lives of people we know so very well: Ourselves. Catch four friends at the crossroads of life, trying to tackle everybody's problem: What do we do with the rest of our lives?
