Based on a novel by Lilly Perry Amitai, Blind Man's Bluff takes a bittersweet look at the life of a young Israeli woman. Trying to distance herself from her Holocaust survivor parents and ex-boyfriend, pianist Micki Stav moves out of her parents' house in search of her own identity. She moves into a small apartment but remains caught in a lattice of demanding relationships. Tension increases as Micki tries to succeed in the classical music world. Her eclectic new neighbors, though, introduce her to a new world of desires in which Micki finds the courage to confront her problems and emerge as an independent and mature woman.
Blind Man's Bluff

A young Israeli arrives in New York City but the person with whom he was meant to stay goes AWOL. The Israeli befriends a young, American singer and returns her wallet which she had stolen from her on the subway, they hang out and get to know each other in the course of 24 hours. New York City serves as the setting and backdrop to their flash in the pan romance. This was Aner Preminger’s thesis film shot during his film studies at NYU before graduating.
24 Hours

An intimate portrait of an Air-Force pilot who lost comrades-in-arms and a veteran soldier experience guilt for not preventing a terror-attack, on a mutual journey, trying to deal with the ghosts that haunt them.
50 Broken Pieces

At the height of the second Intifada, Ruty witnesses a suicide attack that pushes her to the brink. Unwilling to live in a constant state of anxiety, she decides to protect her husband, teenaged daughter and soldier son by barricading their home while they sleep. She plans to keep them there “until there is peace”. Disconnected from the outside world, the family is forced to communicate with each other, and tensions brewing over the years begin to surface. Director Aner Preminger offers a keenly-observed family drama that resonates beyond Israel’s political context.
Present Continuous

The year is 1993. Night-time. September 13 (The Oslo Agreement is signed in Washington - Rabin-Arafat handshake takes place during this night).
