Biography

Angelo Arena, known as Rodolfo Arena (Araraquara, December 15, 1910 — Rio de Janeiro, August 31, 1980), was a Brazilian actor. Son of Italians Antonio Arena and Rosa Acettosi, he was born in the interior of São Paulo. He began his artistic career in the circus. In the 1930s he debuted in theater and from then on had a successful career that included almost one hundred films, some soap operas and more than three hundred plays. He was one of the most prolific actors in Brazilian cinema.
