Brasileiros e Brasileiras is a Brazilian telenovela shown in some schedules SBT between November 5, 1990 and May 14, 1991. Writing for the show was done by Carlos Alberto Sofredini and Walter Avancini, who also directed it. The show was a co-production of the Miksom.

Maria is an orphan girl who suffers from her stepmother's wickedness. She then decides to escape in search of the fringes of the sea and takes a long walk through Brazilian folk tales. On her journey, she meets several fantastic characters.

Nhô Quim has only one dream in his life: to eat red meat. He meets Carula, a young woman anxious to get married, who promises him that in their wedding her father will kill him an ox. But, before that, Nhô Quim must pass a series of tests.

Maria is a gifted girl, who faces a hard life in the fields. She is happy when her father decides to remarry, thinking that he will rejoice again. However, to the girl's despair, her stepmother is bad and starts to mistreat her. Maria still has to face the devil's tricks. Adaptation of the miniseries shown in 2004.

Tessa, Debora and Roberta have a strong bond. Surrounded by perverted men whose only pleasure is sadistic sex games, far out drug fantasies and to humiliate and abuse women, they must take action.
