In Egypt forties and before the 14th of July revolution in 1952, a poor family lives in a prince's palace where the father works as a gardener. The family has two children Ali and Hassan. Ali grows up liking the prince's daughter who loves him too. Now grown ups, they realize how impossible this love story is. Joining the army, Ali fights in Palestine while the brother joins the police and is part of the King's guards. Ali gets back from Palestine and joins the secret military movement that will soon rule Egypt, The Free Officers. The revolution starts and the Free Officers are now in charge, putting Ali against his brother as a guard for the king and also against his lover, the prince's daughter as the revolution will confiscate all her family's wealth.

The events take place during the tripartite aggression against the city of Port Said, through the spy network of the British Intelligence, in which Pat (Laila Fawzi) works, while Al-Ambashi Talbah (Farid Shawqi) leads the resistance group, and the resistance men confront the aggression and vile conspiracies led by traitors and spies.

The film deals with the life of the Arabian peninsula before Islam emerged, where idolatry, ignorance and corruption spread all over. Then the Mohammedan message of worshiping God alone begins and the difficulties facing Islam and early Muslims starts.

A woman aspires to get rich and surrenders to a wealthy old man who will marry her. The wife has a daughter from another man who denies her paternity, and the old man has a son and a daughter from a former wife. The old man indulges in gambling and leaves the rope to his wife in the west. She meets a young man who covets her husband’s wealth, so he blackmails him and plans to get rid of the husband to be inherited by his wife. To implement the plan, she must pretend to love the old man until he shocks the father.

The play revolves around the doctor, Nashat, who meets a naughty girl on one of his nights who drives him home after losing consciousness and sleeping in his house in red pajamas. The comic events begin when his uncle comes to visit him after a long break and thinks that she is his wife and invites them to his daughter's wedding party to rob this girl of the minds of everyone present.

The film tells of dangerous life-threatening documents that are handed over to the hero from his boss at work to hand over to the big man without knowing their seriousness, but the old man thinks badly about the manager, so he kills him and accuses the hero of it.

An employee meets a fortune teller who tells him about things that will happen to him, and tells him that he will kill a person, so all the fortune teller prophecies are fulfilled, then the employee is afraid of killing someone that he starts doubting everyone around him.

The events of the play revolve around the problem of the similar who is used as a substitute for the original, whereby a similar is used in order to obtain a reward from a rich man and the monument on him, and this similar is trying to get close to the daughter of the rich man.
