This classic Greek comedy revolves around the constant fights between Zikos who works as a clerk at a small grocer's shop and the shop's owner. Zikos just can't keep his mouth shut every time his boss behaves as being an aristocrat. Things go even worse when Zikos finds out that his boss, by taking advantage of his wealth and with the help of the local match-maker, is planning to marry a young poor girl living in the same neighborhood.

Minister Andreas Mavrogialouros (Labros Konstadaras) visits the village of his electoral district, Platanias for the inauguration of a maternity hospital. After an accident, he finds his voters' dissatisfaction and the scams of his partners. He, therefore, decides to step down from the government and bring order to his life, starting from his wife and his daughter.

When it comes to his wife, Orestis is suspicious of everything, be it a moustachioed chauffeur or a lost pair of bumblebee-yellow gloves. But, are his fears justified or is this case of the lost fashion accessories a big misunderstanding?

Lalakis is married with Poppe. He goes on a trip to Salonique by train, with his mistress, pretending that he has business there to attend. After his wife found out the truth about the motive of her husbands trip, finally accepts the proposition of Nikos, a man who was in love with her for a long time, and they go to a little village called Thyrassia, which has also a train station. By accident Lalakis and his mistress get down at the same station just to rest a bit but they manage somehow to lose the train. The train station manager hosts both of the couples at his house for the night and unfortunately introduces everybody..

Stelios Kondogiorgis (Dinos Iliopoulos) and Thomas Makrykostas (Costas Hajihristos) are two quiet men that come from the same Peloponnese village yet do not know each other. Their families however are involved in a bloody feud that started 80 years ago. Stelios and Thomas are the last male members from each family. After the last murders in the village where a member of each family died, Stelios' uncle (Pantelis Zervos) urges him to find and kill Thomas for revenge lest he finds him and kills him first. At the same time Thomas is visited by his aunt (Joly Garbi) who asks of him the same and provides him with weapons. Despite everything, neither Stelios nor Thomas are interested in murdering one another and they are both terrified from the idea that a stranger is looking for them in order to kill them. So, they decide to leave their respective jobs and hide at some remote hotel. Luck brings them together without them knowing of each other's identity as they share a room.

A widow wants to remarry, but as often as he tries to flirt with younger women he faces the rivalry of his own son.

Antonis Tsilivikis, a stingy construction contractor, neglects his home and wife Eleni and forces her to lie to her rich uncle in America, Peter, in order to continue to send a monthly financial aid. Ilias dresses himself in a police uniform as part of a complex burglary plot. Unfortunately for him, the impostor officer is called to assist in the investigation of a real crime. The other officers involved in this case treat him as a colleague, and he is forced to play along in hopes that his cover is not blown.

Two rich old friends, Andreas and Agisilaos are in love with young Rita. Andreas believes that is youth and not money that drive the world. He sells his soul to the devil, becomes young and flirts Rita. However, Andreas understands that youth alone is not enough and decides to give a dowry to lovely Rita so that she can marry the one she loves.

Thanasis Vengos plays a poor young man that comes to Athens looking for a job. We watch as he tries many different jobs; druggist, photographer, even wrestling referee. The result is always hilarious and explosive!

A peaceful, though extremely mean, family man, Manolis, is married for ten years to Veta. Some night he spends an astronomical amount of money at a night club, with his partner Giorgos and two pretty and cheerful Greek-American girls, Margaret and Evelyn. However, to his bad luck, Evelyn is no other but Vangelitsa, his wife’s cousin, who visits the next day for lunch.

A good-natured paterfamilias who is struggling to make ends meet rests his hopes on his successful expatriate brother to finally see their older sister get married. However, is the wealthy sibling willing to help?

Sotiris, the president of Ano Latini, goes to Athens to get information about the project of expropriation for the construction of a military airport in the village. Dimitroula, president's daughter, is in love with Vangelis, an aircraftsman, who serves his duty in Athens. When Vangelis learns that a wealthy villager asked to marry his girlfriend, he goes to the village with his friend Kanellos, to find out what's happening. Kanellos is a naive hotel concierge who wears a fancy uniform, making everyone in the village believe that he is a Wing Commander.

The young daughter (Anna Synodinou) of a well-off family comes back from Switzerland after completing her studies, married to a young scientist, Thanasakis (Byron Pallis), who comes back to Greece determined to serve his country as a politician. With the financial support of his brother-in-law (Dinos Iliopoulos) he enters the election with no results. Soon though, another election is announced and he decides to run for a second time, again asking support from his brother-in-law who insists that a new campaign would be financial suicide for the family.

Loukas has been living in Africa for many many years, working hard to send money to his family who has stayed in Greece. When the time has come to return home, he decides to surprise his family and arrives to Greece without telling them that he's coming. Loukas is anxious to see his wife and his grown-up children after so long, but they may not share the same feeling.

Tilemachos has been for many years now engaged to Fofo, who is pressuring him to get married. But he first wants to marry off his sister, who has passed “the usual” age for marriage. Tilemachos is desperate, and he decides to find a husband for his sister by advertising in the newspapers.

A rich widow tries to pursue a relationship with a younger violinist despite the objections of her older brother and his wife.

A poor man accepts the money someone offers him to marry a foreign woman so that she can stay in Greece.
