The film is loosely based on a true story about Paolo Roberto, later a professional boxer and TV presenter. Because of his Italian roots, Paolo is dealing with an identity crisis. With an admiration of Kung Fu films and with his teenage aggressions, Paolo practices violence on innocent citizens in Stockholm.
Three friends, Robban, Alexander and Kim has just left the compulsory school, and now they consider themselves grown-up and mature, being 16 years old. During the summer holiday they also get a bit of experience of the world: Robban becomes a full-time drug addict, Alexander plays in a rock band but leaves it and Kim is desperate to get the girl of his dreams.

In the summer of 1978 the Swedish film director Staffan Hildebrand encountered a group of young people with skateboards in Stockholm city, it resulted in a documentary about this new subculture "skateboard". The documentary, "14 års landet" (The land of 14) was presented in Swedish national TV (SVT) in the christmas of 1978. Now 30 years later Staffan and his crew have followed up the skateboarders from "14 års landet" what happened to them, what has happened with the skateboard industry in Sweden since then and why these people are "hooked for life".
Jocke has grown up in one of Stockholm's rough suburbs. Nowadays he spends the daytime getting into trouble at school and going into Stockholm in the evenings and getting into even more trouble. After being sentenced to prison he meets Tony. After their release they begin a series of robberies.
Anneli is soon to be 17 years old. She lives alone with her mother and can barely remember her father who left the family 10 years ago. One day she receive a letter from her father, who is a helicopter pilot up north. Anneli decides to visit him, but on her way up, she meets Johnny and falls in love.

NOICE - one of Sweden's most popular groups, now on video. This film depicts the phenomenon of Noice on tour and at home. Since the start in 1977, a lot has happened. In 1979, they were discovered by the record company Sonet at a rock band competition and, thanks to Ola Håkansson, they got to make their single debut. In March 1980, they appeared on the TV program "Måndagsbörsen" and became famous overnight. Their third LP "Det ljuva livet" was released in November -81 and, like the two previous ones, has become a very big success. The boys have also had time for nationwide tours and a number of TV recordings. On the international side, there has been performances in East Germany, Spain, Italy and Finland. Three of them are still teenagers, they have already defeated Sweden, now the world is waiting...
