Os Trapalhões was a Brazilian comedy group and also a Brazilian television series created by Wilton Franco. Its members were Dedé Santana, Zacarias, Mussum and their leader Didi Mocó, that was played by Renato Aragão. The name Trapalhões is derived from the Portuguese verb atrapalhar, which means the opposite of helping, to do something the wrong way or to Those that confuse. The name is translated "Tramps" in English DVD subtitles. It was aired by Rede Globo from 1977 to 1999. On March 18, 1990, Zacarias died due to respiratory failure, but the group and the series didn't come to an end until July 29, 1994, when Mussum died due to an unsuccessful heart transplant.

Casseta & Planeta is a Brazilian group of comedians who run a TV show named Casseta & Planeta Urgente, broadcast by Rede Globo. The humour featured on the show is mostly satirical, relating to religious or ethical groups, and minorities. The group founded a company called Toviassu Produções Artísticas, whose name is an acronym composed of syllables from the phrase "Todo viado é surdo" – "Every gay is deaf"; which is the ending of a widely known Brazilian practical joke. Each one of the seven members has a specific function within the company. They present their TV show at Rede Globo and publish a website and many books, among other products, for example the "Machobol". Originally a magazine named Casseta Popular and a humour newspaper called O Planeta Diário, the two teams joined forces and were hired by Rede Globo to become writers for the network's comedy shows, starting with TV Pirata in 1988. I'll Never Forget You was a Brazilian soap opera shown by the SBT between April 14 and September 26, 2003, at 8:30 p.m. Based the original text of Caridad Bravo Adams, it was translated by Henrique Zambelli and adapted by Ecila Pedroso, under the supervision of Enéas Carlos, totalling 120 episodes. It was directed by Jacques Lagôa, Sacha and Henrique Martins, with David Grimberg as producer.

British secret agent 007½ is sent to Rio de Janeiro to recover the plans stolen from a new metal alloy. His contact is a taxi driver, who ends up being murdered by enemy agents.

Wanderley, a young and dreamy Army parachutist, arrives in Teresópolis, a resort mountain town, to enjoy his holidays with his father, a housekeeper for a rich family. Wandering around the woods, he meets Débora, an extremely good-looking girl, but doesn't reveal his true identity, saying only he was a Prince Charming in search of a Sleeping Beauty.

Documentary about middle-class people in Rio de Janeiro, in the 1960s, when Brazil was going through a hard period in its history, with the military coup and the following dictatorship. Interviews with people in the street disclose their fears, aspirations and political alienation.

César wants to be a singer and, with the help of his friends Maloca and Didi, seeks an opportunity on television talent shows. When he performs on Chacrinha's show, he wins all the night's prizes and wins the affection of a young woman from a wealthy family who is dating a con man who steals cars. Realizing the girl has a crush on the singer, the con man sets a trap to get César out of the game.
