When beloved Chicago movie cameraman Allen Ross' personality dramatically changed and he mysteriously disappeared, his many filmmaking friends refused to give up on finding him. Their 4 year cross-country search and the hideous conspiracy they uncovered was made into this deeply personal documentary by his German friend and colleague Christian Bauer. Ross was a co-founder of Chicago Filmmakers.

The documentary tells the story of Uschi, a farmer living free and recluded in the bavarian alps. Shot in epic black and white pictures, Still follows Uschi's life over a ten year period. From an untroubled summer of making cheese through pregnancy and the uncertain future of the parental farm, Matti Bauer portrays Uschi's struggle to keep alive the dream of a way of life that has become rather untypical in this day and age.

During WWII, the U.S. formed an elite intelligence unit -- mostly German Jewish academics -- at Camp Ritchie, Maryland. Tasked with devising ways to break the morale of the SS, these men are often credited with bringing an early end to the war. Some of these heroes, who are now in the eighties, are reunited in this documentary.
