Shajahan and Ambros are two youngsters who struggle to make ends meet. Already neck deep in debt, they try a variety of businesses without much success in any. Following a friend's advice, they decide to try their luck in making an adult film as a last resort.

Varadanunni comes to know that his father and sister were killed by a criminal, Shankar Das. He joins hands with an ageing thug, Vincent Karanavar, and his daughter, Maria, to seek revenge.

The film is a satirical comedy in which Mammootty plays the role of Swathanthran. It's about his struggles to erect a statue of his father, a freedom fighter, in the town center.
