Biography
Shiirshak S. Anand is an Indian writer, director, and creative professional with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. A graduate in Mathematics from Ramjas College, University of Delhi, he transitioned from academics into storytelling and filmmaking, building a diverse body of work across feature films, OTT content, animation, and radio. Anand co-directed the Hindi feature films Guddu Ki Gun and 3G. As a screenwriter, he is known for films such as Table No. 21, Alone, and Dybbuk. He has also written the dialogues for the upcoming film The Wives, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. Beyond feature films, Anand has created and written content for OTT platforms, including the widely appreciated series Thode Door Thode Paas and Bombers on ZEE5. His writing credits also extend to popular animation series such as Fukrey Boyzz and Bandbudh Aur Budbak, along with radio programming and television promotions. In addition to his work in screenwriting and direction, Anand is also a published Hindi poet and continues to contribute to a variety of creative media projects across platforms.
