By inscrutable vagaries of fate, an immensely rich family becomes moderately poor, and a moderately poor family becomes stupidly rich. In "As in the neighborhood as in the sky" we will follow the adventures of the López López, a family that has a chicken and egg warehouse in the colony, and the Ferrara family, a family that owns a fashion emporium, which allows them to coexist comfortably with the international Jet set.

Malboro and Cucu, the starring characters, are two brothers who split after the older one, Malboro, went to prison five years. One day he is set free, willing to return to his life. Cucu is the younger brother, who has become a boxer with possible success, if only the beater he keeps somewhere inside, didn't arise in the worst moments. The relationship between the two brothers is somehow ambiguous, there's something unclear that caused Malboro's arrest. To complete the triangle is Uncle Jesus who has been like a father to them; a retired boxer who's always thinking about his past. Sara is Malboro's great love, a woman full of shame and resented after almost leaving her whole life behind to follow Malboro, but he failed in their attempt to run away because that same night, he got arrested by Rojas. Rojas is Sara's husband, a police officer who hates Malboro and will do anything to get him out of his way...

Composed of eight stories with comic overtones, all share the central theme of "love" and the extremes to which people will go to achieve it: unrequited love, deception and lust. They all offer a different take on the most difficult of human emotions: love.

Niebla, a teenage gangster, is killed in a shootout and his ghost returns to help Francisco, a ten-year-old boy who is the victim of constant abuse and violent attacks by his father, Basilio, an abusive and violent thief, adored and feared by his son.

In a small town where nothing ever happens, the inhabitants learn about a place at the edge of the earth where money and women are abundant. When they see the oportunity to go and work illegaly in the United States, they jump at the chance. Meanwhile Andrés and Gregorio go to the town searching for treasures and they only find Matilde, the rest of the women in the town left, tired of waiting for the men to return.

There is a blackout in Mexico City. In the darkness some people are abandoned by God (their conscience) and commit a transgression (murder and infidelity). When the lights come on, conscious of what they have done, they must atone for their sin.

Film anthology that assembles stories about heartbreak, friendship, first love and self-love involving modern and complex relationships in Mexico City, where different young and old people go through different stages of personal growth in a magical, loving, toxic and sometimes even surreal city, where it is just as easy to run into other characters who live similar situations, as it is to meet the love of your life.
