Luís is in a comic book store reading a comic, when something happens and his attention is diverted.

In a village in the Portuguese Douro region, there is a story about a fishmonger named Cristo who visits Las Veigas every week. On one of these visits, he runs into the granddaughter of a friend of his. The girl confuses Cristo with Jesus, and based on this comparison, Cristo has a revelation that elevates him to a divine level.

Father and daughter try to survive in a post-apocalyptic world of zombies.
