Siblings Lumi and Talvi are separated as children. In search of her sister, Lumi ends up in Elfland, where elves prepare Christmas presents for all the children of the world. The elves are initially suspicious of the human child who appears out of nowhere, but Pyry, an elf boy, welcomes Lumi with interest. Pyry is eager for new adventures and his friendship with Lumi looks like a chance for an exciting journey.

Being human is a fragile and fleeting opportunity to experience life and the universe around us. In the face of overwhelming darkness all we can do is to rely on and find solace in one another. The film is based on authentic emergency calls and radio traffic.

Hanasaari A is an experimental documentary about the changing cityscape of Helsinki and the final moments of a coal-fired power plant. The old industrial milieu is being destroyed to make space for modern housing units. The film is a combination of animation, live action cinematography, and graphic elements. It is based on 500 000 photographs taken during the final two years of the existence of the power plant.
