This 15-chapter serial was produced by Colonel William N. Selig, the former mogul whose large assortment of wild animals became the nucleus of today's Los Angeles Zoo. Selig's ferocious fauna added authenticity to a story about yet another white goddess, Princess Elyata of Tirzah (Juanita Hansen), who comes to the rescue of Stanley Morton (George Chesebro) and his sidekick Mike Donovan (Frank Clark), a couple of Americans who foolishly wander into a village ruled by slave trader Gagga (Hector Dion).

Goldie, the bright young daughter of Farmer Meadows, is engaged to marry Harold Montaine, a romantic young farm hand. Along comes Jim Bludsoe, a regular villain, whose polish and citified manners impress Goldie so that she is induced to elope with him.

Old Morgan, an eccentric millionaire in a western city, has a dissipated young son. He has also a very sweet adopted daughter, Edwina. One day the son is waylaid near the railroad yards, stripped of a big "roll" and thrown unconscious into a box car.

Phemie, an avowed man-hater, marries Joe, the village blacksmith.
