Based on the story of the same name by Anatoliy Kalinin. A young village woman, Klavdiya Pukhlyakova, the mother of a newborn girl, finds a gypsy boy at the crushed kibitka under the tanks. Having pity on the child, she takes him home and raises him as her own son. 17 years pass. Once in the village appears a lonely gypsy Budulai, who has experienced a lot. He very quickly gained the sympathy of Pukhlyakova's adoptive son. Suspecting that Budulai is the father of her gypsy boy, Klavdiya fears that the peace of the family will be disturbed...

For several months, the investigation into the robbery of the cashier in the village of Airport. Assistants to the chief of criminal investigation department Mironov managed to find the direct traces leading to the thief-the recidivist Panasyuk serving sentence in a colony for small theft.

The evil wizard Black Whirlwind steals the herd of a shepherd boy named Andriesh along with his faithful dog Lupar. Andriesh sets off to rescue them. On the way, he receives a magical flute as a gift, which helps him find his way to the wizard's castle — and comes to the aid of Black Whirlwind's numerous victims, who have long suffered from the tyrant's misdeeds. Everywhere the submissive servants of the dragon fight him, but again and again, good-hearted people help the brave young knight survive the adventurous journey: they give him a sword, life-giving water and a flying ship. Finally Kotigoroschko enters the realm of the dragon...
