A rural comedy where the intrigues caused by the upcoming elections in a small village give rise to a ridiculous war between the mayor and deputy mayor. Unfortunately, they have no clue that their struggle will prove to be in vain at the end of the election day.

It's not just any day at the factory for our shady but somehow admirable hero Iulica (Gabriel Spahiu), Health and Safety Chief, but the morning after the glorious victory of underdogs Steaua Bucharest in the European Champions Cup over the mighty Barcelona - the only Romanian team ever to win it. Everyone, or at least the men, really wants to be celebrating this, but in fact it's Romanian Communist Party Day which is taking centre stage in the works canteen.

Adrian, a man from a provincial town, has decided to start a new life as a monk. The mayor, the policeman and the leader of the Christian Youth Association accompany their friend on his way to the monastery.

A director tries to convince his leading man to take on the main role in a film about the Rumanian revolution. But the actor is having problems with his girlfriend and, before long, the borders become blurred between the fictional world the director is creating and the actor’s own memories. Again and again the red scarf is wound around his neck.

Rabbit Meat tells the story of Edy, a shy bodybuilder who is trying to find a girlfriend.
