The second TV adaptation of Jovan Sterija Popović's comic novel about a woman who doesn't want to be known as a craftsman's wife but to become noble, aiming to climb up the social ladder. However, it isn't easy for her to stick up with the manners.

Milos Crnjanski, the great Serbian writer, returns home after the turmoil and chaos of the First World War. Tired and disappointed, he decides to spend night at the local brothel.

A marriage of a young woman, whose husband is respected member of society, gradually turns into hell because of his abusive nature.

Sultana and the bootmaker's wife Pela looks very much like each other, with replacement clothing and residence, Sultana becomes Pela and Pela becomes Sultana. The consequence of disguise is that the Sultana are undergoing torture from Pela's husband which changes her nature, which makes positive impact on her environment. The script abounds with musical numbers that contribute to the atmosphere, establish era and the place of action, and in this play bring vaudeville jollity.

Professor of mathematics (played by Petar Kralj) confesses to the famous writer Ivo Andric (played by Tihomir Stanic). The professor’s psychological drama starts off when he picks up a package addressed to a certain lady. In her gratitude, the professor sees a discreet romantic sign.

A biography of Ivo Andrić on the eve of the Second World War catastrophe. Andrić is accompanied by the landlady Marija, her talkative brother Baron, a friend-associate Vera and his lover, pianist Vanda. A complex mix of human destinies including politicians, writers, friends and lovers.

Thematically diverse stories written by Petar Kocic are bond by the thread, creating the basis for a dramatic story of the events surrounding the student Simeun. In the foreground there's a summary of Simeun's features, some patriotic, but some arrogant as well. These Simeun's actions are manifesto of the complexity of his nature, acting like a tyrant and patriot who displays bravery for the sake of freedom of his people.

A middle-aged couple is under impression of a young couple who moved in the apartment next to theirs. Noises coming through the wall make them question their activities and remind about their own lives. Each line of the dialogue is spoken in rhymes.
