Marilena is forced to accept for the sake of a supposedly harmonious household. Mr. Marcel soon finds that his marital equilibrium has become unstable. As such, Simona, who recommends herself as a teacher, adds to these sensual explorations with drugs and inventiveness. She supplements her income and her need for "powders" by helping couples willing to get out of the marital rut. Marilena, jealous, disowns her and comes to the point of breaking off the marital relationship.

The Tower of Pisa

Set in a scientific environment, the plot of Șerban Marinescu's movie depicts the system of the piles and obligations. The editor of a specialized journal receives a phone call from an influential acquaintance in the scientific field, who asks him to publish the article of one of his protégés. The editor undertakes to print it on account of previous favors, even though the proposed article is more in the realm of speculation. At the same time, for lack of space, a scientifically valuable article with immediate applicability has to be postponed to the next issue of the journal.
