Fred, a photographer, is in Tunisia to report on the « Bezness » (male prostitutes). Thanks to Roufa, Fred will discover this surprising environment where young men are confronted with the contradictions between tradition and modernity.

Tunisia, early thirties, the young and plump Bajou, lives modestly with his parents. One day after a flood, his father suddenly disappears. Thanks to his uncle and his cousin Marcel, he moves with his mother Oumi to work for the wealthy landowner Mr. Scali, a talkative and boastful man.

Aldo and Marco are twins. Marco, a priest by trade, has always been an object of pride for his mother, while Aldo has already spent six periods in prison. Always on the lookout for money and pretty girls, he lets himself be hijacked by crazy, often dishonest operations, which fail most of the time. One day, he is forced to flee to Tunisia, dressed as a priest and posing as Marco. There he meets up with Prosper, a childhood friend, whom he lures into his race for millions and beautiful summer girls. Marco, delegated by the Paris police, arrives in Tunisia to limit the damage, but only makes it worse. Once again, Aldo has to disappear into the wilderness for a while and make himself forgotten...

Hamid is a journalist, in his late thirties and he sees his celibacy with his petty bourgeois family as an escape route so as not to resemble his own. A community of people rejected by society live in an abandoned residence located in a "Medina": an old town in Tunisia. Al Bab, a local criminal running the residence's prostitution circle, returns from prison on his wedding day. Fraj, his brother and the town warlock, falls in love with Ramla, his brother's future wife: He is the only man of the residence who has seen her face, as she is kept prisoner in one of the rooms until the wedding night.
