Biography
Jan Hendriks begon op zijn tiende met gitaarspelen. Behalve een paar lessen van zijn buurman, heeft hij zichzelf het spelen geleerd. Het eerste bandje waarin Hendriks speelde, maakte alleen instrumentale muziek, net zoals zijn favoriete band The Shadows. Midden jaren zestig verschoof de interesse van Hendriks van rock and roll naar beatmuziek. Hij ging spelen bij de beatband Chockfull. Naast covers van Jimi Hendrix, Cream en The Kinks speelden ze ook soulmuziek van bijvoorbeeld Otis Redding. De band was voornamelijk in Brabant redelijk populair en speelde een aantal keer in Paradiso. Ondanks de vele optredens (waarvan enkele in Luxemburg en Frankrijk) bracht de band geen platen uit. In 1970 werd de band opgeheven. Na een korte pauze speelde hij nog bij de band Steam, maar ook hiermee boekte hij geen succes.
Known For
Seven women take off on a cargo boat for a cruise, after graduating from an exclusive boarding school in Switzerland. They party with the ship's crew, but in port they meet up with Manuel, who runs a meteorological station with his father on a remote Amazon island. While out there, Manuel's father has found a crashed airplane carrying gold ingots. Manuel goes to the mainland to tell of his father's finding and is overheard by a gangster. The gangsters head over to the island and shoot Manuel's father, but Manuel escapes. Murdok captures some of the girls, who must fight off some of the gang members' evil intentions. Eventually the rest of the girls and Manuel arrive to the rescue, but Murdok gets away only in time to be shot by the police.

For the old privy Frau Butow, the green salon in her comfortable Berlin apartment is both an untouchable relic from the past as well as a refuge from the cares of everyday life. Enthroned in her salon, she wishes to neither hear not see the changes the world is going through and the problems these changes are bringing about. Frau Butow lives in an illusory world, in which problems aren't allowed. Thus, she knows nothing of the problems of her children and grandchildren; nor her son's business problems; nor even the health problems of her daughter. Only granddaughter Sabine doesn't want to come to terms with the unworldly attitude of her grandmother. So she tells her about her love for the architectural student Wolf, who has to earn his money as a bricklayer. The old woman is horrifeid and doesn't want to hear anymore! But Sabine won't shut her mouth.
