A French silent film serial which follows the exploits of the archvillain Fantômas, who commits crimes while eluding Inspector Juve's tireless persecution.

Clément Mégé borrows the shotgun of a sleeping hunter and goes after big game, like ducks and a cat. Soon he gets caught up being chased by some policemen.

Maurice Schwartz is a hurdy-gurdy man, a player of what is essentially a giant music box who sets up in public places, plays his tune, and is rewarded with small change. In this case, he approaches a man who gives him a large bill to essentially go away. However, Schwartz figures he is paid to play music, and he's going to play his music for the man, pursuing him through a number of increasingly bizarre situations to give him his money's worth.

The distressing plight of a young man who, dissatisfied with the food his wife serves him, eats horse meat, develops various equine mannerisms, and eventually lands in the hospital.

Léontine cannot resist her desire to sail her new toy boat indoors. She plugs up the drains and turns on the faucets, flooding the house as water rains down through the floorboards and collapses the ceilings.
