TGIS is a Filipino youth-oriented drama series aired on GMA Network from July 8, 1995 to November, 1999. The series aired every Saturday. It was produced by GMA Network, and VIVA Television. The title is derived from the popular expression "TGIF."

Growing Up is a Filipino youth-oriented series aired on GMA Network from 1997 to 1999. Produced by GMA Network and VIVA Television, the show aired every Wednesday as a primetime drama series, which serves as a sequel to TGIS. The show was reaired in GMA7's late weeknight/early morning block from 2000 to 2001 as part of the network's 50th anniversary celebrations.

A group of unsuspecting teens are menaced by assorted creatures from Philippine mythology. The screen eventually becomes a virtual peep-through Jurassic Park of horrifying creatures from the netherworld.

Charisse lives in a boarding house owned by Vivian Sales (Rina Reyes) but drops by her grandfather (Eddie Arenas) once in a while. The narrative goes on in this scenario and eventually leaps from drama to action when the lead characters, Charisse and Benito, get entangled with Bunny and the godfather-like character, Dodi (Celso Ad. Castillo).

Anghel and Angelica are two people from two different worlds. When she goes to the Penitentiary, she sees Anghel and is intrigued by him. She learns that he is well respected by his mates and that his word is considered as law inside the Billibid. At first, Anghel is annoyed by her presence but he later grows fond of her. Eventually, the people around them notice the understanding and try to keep them apart.

Left with no choice but to leave home, he sets off for manila where he meets Roberto, a rich young man suffering from amnesia. Ignorant of the ways of the city they encounter four cunning juveniles who eventually becomes their friend and in one of their mischief s, they meet the apples of their eyes.

A mining engineer (Andre Soriano) who is having marital problems with his wife of Indian descent played by Mara Altiera. The two have a son (Peter Lacana) who is afflicted with a learning disability. The husband decides to set up the wife with one of the workers at camp (Jamil Basa) who also stays in the house—an act that eventually leads to a ménage a trois.

A 30-year-old widower realizes that his three children need a mother figure. His youngest daughter feels lonely and finds it hard to cope with schooling. He scouts around for a tutor for his daughter, someone who could also act as her playmate and friend. The lady who arrives -- a cheerful singer and tutor -- brings light to their home lives.

Wacks plans a weekend get-away using his father's yacht without him knowing. However, the boat breaks down, forcing the group to stay on a nearby island.
