The Legend of the Condor Heroes is a Hong Kong television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel of the same title. It was first broadcast on TVB Jade in Hong Kong in 1983. The 59 episodes long series is divided into three parts. This 1983 version is considered by many to be a classic television adaptation of the novel and features the breakthrough role of Barbara Yung, who played Huang Rong.
Police Cadet '84 was a TV series which included such stars in TVB as Tony Leung, Maggie Cheung, and notably, Carina Lau. The story centered on a couple of young "cadets" in the Police Cadet School. Tragedy, romance, conflicts, and intrigues were featured. The series was immediately followed by a sequels titled "New Police Cadet '85" and "New Police Cadet '88". Both sequels stars Tony Leung.

Ultimately, the fourteenth prince plotted to assassinate Yongzheng with the help of Zeng Jing and Lusi, igniting a fierce battle.

Fist of Fury is a 1995 Hong Kong television series adapted from the 1972 film of the same title. Produced by ATV and STAR TV, the series starred Donnie Yen as Chen Zhen, a role previously played by Bruce Lee in Fist of Fury and Jet Li in Fist of Legend. The series is also related to the 2010 film Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen, in which Yen reprises his role. This series was edited into a 225 minute movie titled Sworn Revenge for the US market in 2002.
Gao Tianyuan and his wife Zhuo Feng'er live in seclusion in the Tian Shan mountains due to his father's dismissal from officialdom. During the Chongzhen reign of the Ming Dynasty, eunuch Cao Huachun colludes with the Qing dynasty to seize the throne. Princess Changping and her sister Zhaoren seek the help of Zhou Shixian and Yuan Ruofei to eliminate Cao. Li Zicheng's rebels invade the capital and are rescued by the East Sea Fairy, who teaches them martial arts. The Qing then conquer the Central Plains, and Ping and Shixian pretend to submit to the Qing to save Ruofei. However, they have their own hidden agenda.
