Local Georgian pilot Mimino dreams of flying airplanes for major international airlines. To realize his aspirations, he goes to Moscow where he encounters a fellow comrade from the Caucasus, the Armenian Rubik. Many misadventures ensue.

Two Soviet humans previously unknown to each other are transported to the planet Pluke in the Kin-dza-dza galaxy due to a chance encounter with an alien teleportation device. They must come to grips with a language barrier and Plukian social norms (not to mention the laws of space and time) if they ever hope to return to Earth.

Extraordinary adventures, love, friendship, and loyalty help the hero, who enters into a fight with the cruel and treacherous Circassian prince Vakhvari.

Relatives of the beautiful Mardjan consider Elberd unworthy of her hand. Father, uncle and grandmother keep the girl locked up. And for protection they use a whole pack of dogs. But the cunning Elberd manages to lure the dogs into large baskets, hang them high on the branches of trees, and take his beloved out of the house.

Gogia brings home a kvevri (georgian wine vessel) made in Imereti in Kakheti . Kvevri brought from a distance with a sledgehammer breaks carelessly. Gogia takes craftsman Abesalom home, who repairs the kvevri, but he himself will get stuck inside of it .

Road masters Abessalom, Beso and Gigla decide to enjoy lemon cake for dessert.

A man is put in charge of organizing a children's soccer team, but he doesn't know anything about the sport.

Having met road workers, a sports instructor convinces them to sign up in the mountaineering section and begin to conquer the surrounding peaks.

Puple, Valerian and Asiko are elderly actors. People no longer pay attention to the famous actors of the past. The troupe went on tour without them. They gladly agree to introduce their art to the residents of the village of Fandauri, but as they arrive in the village they find out that they have been invited to the opening of the spring, and they are only asking them for a poem or just a word that touches their heart. The cheerful mood of the actors will be replaced by a sad one.

Three road workers apply road markings. Exhausted by the excruciating heat, Gigla pretends to be sick by putting a randomly found street thermometer in his bosom.

Two men fight to win the heart of a charming girl. One is much stronger, but it seems that only physical strength means nothing.

The rich inner world of famous Georgian theater and film director, artist and puppeteer Rezo Gabriadze is as fantastic as the animation into which he has poured this story of his life. Rezo’s director son Levan "Leo" Gabriadze, who previously made the horror film Unfriended (2014), leaves it to his father to talk about a life suffused with magical thinking.

Nazo and Koba decide to apply to a theater institute, but despite Koba being accepted, they both return home, not wanting to study separately.
