Biography
Plínio Marcos de Barros (September 29, 1935 – November 19, 1999) was a Brazilian writer, author, actor, theater director and journalist. He wrote numerous plays, written mainly during the time of the military regime in Brazil. He was married for 25 years to journalist Vera Artaxo, who died in July 2010, and, previously, to actress Walderez de Barros, with whom he had three children, including playwright Leo Lama.
