Triple Nine is an English language television police procedural telecast on what was then the Television Corporation of Singapore's Channel 5 from 1995 to 1999. The station's earliest attempt in an action-based drama series, it revolved around the lives of a group of police officers, namely Inspector Mike Chin, Inspector Elaine Tay, and Sergeant Alan Leong from the Special Investigation Section of the Criminal Investigation Department. The cast changed in subsequent seasons, notably with the inclusion of Inspector Sean Han, Inspector Herbert de Souza, and Sergeant Yeo Lay Kim from the third season, and Sergeant Sarah Chan from the 4th season. Season 2 was written by Amos Kwok. The first season was also dubbed into Chinese and aired on Channel 8 in 1996.

"Springs of Life" is a story that begins in the '50s and one that spans over a period of 30 years. The dramedy is a rare mix of humour and seriousness as it depicts the lives and culture of the people during the era. The story uses a medical hall as its backdrop and tells the story of Da Pao, a young entrepreneur who is willing to take risks where no one else dares to. He is inspired when he learns of a secret medical recipe for medical oil, and cracks his head to market the product. The story also includes the interesting lives of a pair of budding singing sisters. Zhang Pei Pei of 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' fame was cordially invited to star in this humorous yet telling dramedy.

Despite being a daughter of a triad chief, growing up in a less-than-desired environment, Hong Shan is nevertheless kindhearted by nature. Hong Shan first met Situ Hai Yang when they were six and seven, respectively, she had a crush on him and but never mustered enough courage to speak to him. Time has passed, and Hong Shan finally gets acquainted with Hai Yang- masquerades as Zi Qiang's sister. The Situ family was once a happy family. However, things changed when, Hai Yang's mother was killed by a killer-litter while shielding him from a falling flowerpot. His father plunged into depression, which resulted in self-destruction. Since then, Hai Yang's relationship with his siblings became soured and treated him indifferently since their parents' death. As soon as Hong Shan and Hai Yang's relationship blossoms, by a sudden twist of fate, it turned out that Hong Shan was the culprit for Hai Yang's mother's death .

Masters of the Sea was a 1994 television drama series produced by the Television Corporation of Singapore, the predecessor of Mediacorp. It was the first full-length English drama series to be produced in Singapore. The series starred Wong Li-Lin, Ng Chin Han, and Aziz Mustajab. Masters of the Sea was derided by some as "fairly disastrous" and lasted only two seasons, with the second season titled Masters of the Sea: In Troubled Waters. One of the criticisms was that it portrayed an elderly Peranakan woman wearing the wrong costumes and ornaments, and speaking the wrong phrases. However, it was syndicated to Indonesian television, where it was shown localised into Indonesian.

Just before Anniela and Robert are supposed to move to Singapore where they were planning on getting married and having Robert work for the family business, Anniela surprises her fiancé in the arms of his last girlfriend. Immediately ending their relationship, she stubbornly departs for Singapore alone. She is thrilled to see her old friend Ming Lee, director of a cultural center for deprived children. In addition to taking a job teaching German, Anniela offers music lessons to the kids. It isn't long before she falls in love with Dai Si, one of the students in her language class. However, he hasn't been truthful about his identity. Afraid of losing Anniela's love, he hides the fact that he is the son of the rich industrialist who plans on tearing down the cultural center to build a casino. Anniela eventually discovers who her new lover really is. Now twice brokenhearted, she prepares to flee Singapore for home. The magic of true love, however, is not so easily discouraged.

In Singapore, successful businessman Alexander falls in love with his new assistant Li Lin. Their love is soon put to test when his ex-fiancée Anna's brother blackmails Li Lin into stealing the plans for Alexander's project. Li Lin reluctantly succumbs to the pressure. Meanwhile, Anna meets Li Lin by chance and soon their friendship develops and endures even after Anna discovers Li Lin's love for Alexander. When Alexander forgives Li Lin, Anna bravely decides to allow destiny to follow its own course.

The Viennese detective children Biggi, Patrick and Luke find a key in dragon form, and their curiosity is aroused. They realize that the sinister Lady Q is interested in opening the legendary moon palace and find the elixir which is believed that promises eternal youth. The Tigers must prevent that Lady Q enters into possession of the priceless liquid.
