Do Bhai (English: The Two Brothers) is a 1947 Indian Bollywood film directed by Munshi Dil. Its starred Ulhas, Kamini Kaushal, Dipak Mukherjee, Tiwari, Rajan Haksar and Paro Devi in lead roles. It was the second highest grossing Indian film of 1947. Raj Karan, Nirmala's father and Forest Officer of the State had brought up Jai from childhood like his son. With the comming of youth the playful comradeship between Nirmala an Jai had naturally changed into deep love. Sarala and Shiva Karan, Nirmala's mother an brother, however hated Jai and they succeeded on day in ousting him from their home. Jai comes accross to know he has a stepmother and stepbrother. He was mistaken as the real son of his stepmother and made Yuvraaj.

Dr. Mathur fills the rest of the blanks for Pyare, and arranges a song and dance play and hopes that Raj will overcome his dislike for his now-grown son.

Yusuf lives a wealthy lifestyle with his businessman dad, Safdarjang, who is confined to a wheel-chair. When Yusuf's precocious nephew, Khalid alias Phirangi's tutor, Mrs. Albert complains about him and quits, Yusuf hires Shabana, who along with her granny, have come to live with them for a short period of time. He also hires a man named Khairudin as a servant to look after his dad. Yusuf and Shabana are attracted to each other and intend to marry, much to the joy of Safdarjang and the granny. The wedding preparations are on, but there are a couple things Yusuf and his family do not know. One is that Shabana is the daughter of a Courtesan named Najma; and that Khairudin has secured employment in order to kill Yusuf.

Bhavani Prasad is a powerful thug, who masquerades as a priest. His son Shankar refused to follow his path so he wants his grandson Kundan to carry on the legacy. When his son protests, in a fit of rage, Bhavani gets Shankar killed and passes the buck to his cousin Naubat Lal. Kamla arranges for Janki's marriage with Agra-based Ashok, while her dad also finalizes her very own marriage with Suraj on the same day. On the way back from Agra, Suraj's has an accident, he does survive but is grievously injured. After he recuperates he finds he cannot speak due to a brain blood clot. Janki's marriage takes place and she re-locates to Agra.

Shikari is a Bollywood film released in 1946, directed by Savak B. Vacha, starring Ashok Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Paro Devi and Veera. The music was directed by Anil Chandra Sengupta, with Sachin Dev Burman as the background singer.

Three criminals, Jagoo, Bansi and Ajit, escape from jail. However, Ajit is murdered and just before dying he mentions the name Pinto. Jagoo and Bansi decide to avenge the death of their friend.
