Olli, the main character in the movie, got a very bad grade and is terribly annoyed. She runs away from home and, together with a dog and a horse, finds a (mad? nutty?) scientist in a windmill. They experience the strangest adventures in this windmill and find other interesting characters, a lot of excitement and peril. While you may well interpret something as the "socialist value system" into this movie, it is more meant to be a children's movie, showing the kids that there are more exciting things out there than the ones that your parents and teachers show you, and that you will only find out most of those things on your own, if you show enough curiosity.

Based on the classical novel "Treasure of Silver Lake" by Karl May. Cowboys Hobble Frank and Tante Droll are instructed to deliver the legacy of chief Weiser Bär, a map to the legendary Treasure of the Silver Lake, to his hiers Großer Bär and Kleiner Bär. But the bandit Cornel Brinkley and his buddies manage to steal the map and so Frank and Droll call up Old Shatterhand and Winnetou, to help them in their quest to recapture the map and save the treasure.

The lighthouse keeper Jonathan not only has to restore the old tower, but living together with a lazy tomcat, a nagging goat and the dog Moonlight also causes some problems. Thanks to Jonathan's empathetic help, they all find a way to live together.

This puppet animation film is based on Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf. A 1936 symphonic fairy tale for children, the piece tells the story of Peter and a little bird who outwit and catch the dangerous wolf and take him to a zoo.

Kunz, the poor day laborer who is richly blessed with children, discovers the secret of the cave in the Simeliberg while collecting wood. Robbers keep their looted treasures there. Kunz takes some of it from time to time so that he can put a little more on the table for his family. Kunz's rich, stingy and suspicious neighbor discovers the secret of the treasure cave. His greed blinds him so much that he runs into his misfortune.

The count, an evil robber baron, appropriates the last of his peasants' cows. Till Eulenspiegel hires himself out as a tower blower to the wild journeyman and causes the count and his cronies to blindly leave the castle by raising a false alarm.

One morning, the little mouse crawls out of its hole and decides to have a look around. He hops over hill and dale, marvels at grasses and flowers, overcomes holes and hills, experiences a thunderstorm and an adventurous trip on the water and finally returns tired to his hiding place at home. She proudly believes she has seen the whole wide world.

When Luitpold Leuwenhaupt sees a faboulous goose in the local pet shop, he can't resist buying it for christmas. But the three kids become friends with the goose, calling her 'Auguste'. So, is there any way left for Luitpold to make a fine christmas feast out of Auguste?

The wire men Kurz (Short) and Lang (Long) want to race each other. They choose a tree on the horizon as their destination. While Kurz prepares for the race, Lang measures the course. Unnoticed, he draws a moat across the track. The start takes place. Initially, Kurz and Lang are tied, but Lang jumps over at the ditch and Kurz remains sadly on the sidelines. The beaming winner is Lang. Kurz calls on the unfair Lang to run a second race.

A little mouse is struggling terribly to bring in her harvest. She has overestimated her strength, the load is too heavy. He suspiciously refuses any help, but has to realize that others think more selflessly, because they have secretly grabbed the load and pushed it along. Together with her helpers, the mouse celebrates the harvest festival.

This short puppet-animated film criticizes American toy companies for their militaristic toys and marketing which fosters politically aggressive attitudes. Catalogues and building sets made by the American toy companies Aurora and Lindberg report on the ways they are misused for imperialist manipulation. The film particularly emphasizes the rehabilitation and propagation of the German imperialist military tradition, which is seen as responsible for destroying humanistic viewpoints and replacing them with perverted and sadistic attitudes towards humanity.

Anton, a touring musician, arrives in a foreign country with his tuba. The people there enjoy the music and decide to build their own instruments. Soon there is music everywhere. The king also wants to play a huge instrument, but he has no talent and makes no progress. He gets angry and demands that all instruments be rounded up.
