Ouk an lavois para tou mi ehontos develops in modern Athens where Charos goes, wanting to withdraw from his obligations. However, he is short an obolus on his books, what Menippus owes since he died. Hermes, as the carrier of souls and responsible for Menippus not having the obolus, together with Charus try to help Menippus make money to pay him the obolus. The series was scheduled to begin in the 2009–2010 season, but was eventually rescheduled for the following season’s schedule. The series consists of a total of one cycle with 14 episodes.

Rena Varlamou (Rena Vlahopoulou), a female queen and a captain, takes up the election campaign of her fiancé Pericles Arapis (Stavros Xenides), a tavern who has founded a party and wants to become a member. He tries to land him in reality, but he does not, and when Pericles is not elected, he takes off. The reason is the sudden death of the uncle of Iakovos Menexes, a political career, who had re-elected a Member on their island. Menexes had included it on his ballot, as a runner-up, and Rena took his place, becoming the first female MP and struggling to make some important works in her place.

Rena, a decadent folk singer from Corfu, lives in Athens with her bouzouki musician brother Stratos, while her cousin Pepita di Corfu, is a major prima donna of popular tunes and lives in Rome with her fiancé Antonio. The shipowner Lampros Fokas, who had met Pepita years ago in Naples, invites her to a reception. She is unable to go, but a foxy agent presents Rena in her place. During an International Trade Fair at Thessaloniki, a mature woman, Rena (Martha Karagianni), goes there with her sister to convince her childhood friend Dinos (Dinos Iliopoulos) to have a "white wedding" so that she can inherit a large estate. Dinos though, does not accept because even though he is actually a womanizer he acts as a shy and modest man around people. Everyone there will meet a group of musicians and one of them will fall in love with the daughter of the strict manager of the company Dinos works for who is accompanied by Dinos. At some point, everyone goes to Athens where things get more complicated untill everyone finds his perfect match. In the end Rena gets her inheritance and all together they perform a musical play in a grand theater.

An extremelly honest man, Timoleon Lambrou (Dinos Iliopoulos), who has lost his job many times due to his honesty finds a wallet full of cash and a letter from the USA that belongs to a military General who is the president o a large public organisation and decides to return it. The General's wife though, Lia (Rena Vlahopoulou), covers for her brother (Andreas Douzos) who has embezzled from her husband's organisation and the letter proves the lies and embezzlements. Finally, Lia gets hold of the letter despite the honest man's objections but the General, decides to hire him due to his honesty. There, he discovers the embezzlements and when he tells everything to the General, his wife and her brother try to prove that he is crazy, a crook, a communist and anti-systemic, things that usually make the General furious. The honest man is imprisoned but in the end Lia decides to come forth with the truth.

The Adamastos family consists of the father, Major Adamastos, the mother, Captain Eugenia and their daughter, Soldier Vicky. The father defies women in the army while the daughter falls in love with a second lieutenant justifying her father's opinion, but the mother manages to highlight the all-female Company's work.
