A mother and daughter encounter a demon in a village where girls have been disappearing.

This is a family drama. A poor school master had three sons and one daughter. He was very tense for his daughter's marriage. He meets his former student Bablu, who meets Minu and falls in love with her. He wants to marry Minu. But Minu loved another boy, Alok. Bablu meets Alok and helps him by giving him a job in his office. But Alok was an uncivilised person and falls in love with Rupali, a girl in Bablu's office. Rupali was not a very nice person. Bablu warned Alok about her but Alok left Minu and started staying with Rupali. Minu was dejected and wanted revenge. She wants to transform herself and Bablu helps her to become Minoti,a modern cultured lady. Alok now wants to get Minoti but she slaps him. Minoti realizes that Bablu is the right man for her and they get married.

Pitamber Kohli lives an upper middle class existence with his wife, & two brothers, Yeshwant and Pratap. The trio get in the bad books of an underworld don named Swami, who soon they launches a vendetta against them. As a result, Pitamber is killed, and both Yeshwant and Pratap swear to avenge his death. Pratap joins the police force, and steps up his efforts to nab Swami at any cost, to no avail, and he ends up getting suspended from his duties. Then Swami makes his move – Pratap’s sister and brother-in-law are abducted and held at gunpoint. When Yeshwant goes to rescue them, he is gunned down. Now Pratap, the only remaining Kohli brother, is the only target of Swami. How Swami entraps Pratap, who will be quite helpless especially with his sister still a captive with Swami forms the crux of the story

A taxi driver is caught between a dysfunctional relationship between a woman and her father as he drives them to Kolkata.

Savitri (Moushumi Chatterjee) falls in love with Vijay (Mithun Chakraborty), who saves her sister from a dacait named Shamshera (Amrish Puri). Both get very intimate, and then decide to marry. Before the marriage could take place, Shamshera kills Vijay, and Savitri gives birth to a baby boy, but is told that the child was born dead. She then marries Thakur Prem Singh (Navin Nischal), who is responsible for blinding Shamshera in one eye, and sending him to prison. Subsequently Savitri gives birth to another baby boy, Rajesh (Sumit Saigal). Years later, she comes across a young man named Ravi (also Mithun Chakraborty)

Adivasi Mahua lives a poor lifestyle in a fishing village along with her widowed dad. One day the local Poojary comes across a seemingly menacing looking male, feeds him, and asks Mahua's dad to look after him. This male has no memory and they name him Kishan. Shortly thereafter Mahua and Kishan fall in love and get married. After about 2 months Kishan goes to the city and does not return home. A frantic Mahua and her dad go to the Police as well as to the city to search for him albeit in vain and return home. Mahua continues to worry about Kishan and sets out on her own to try and locate him. She meets with a doctor who informs her that he recalls treating a male fitting Kishan's description and gives her his Bombay address. Mahua travels to Bombay and locates Kishan's house.

Arjun Srivastav clears things up with Krishna Prasad Saxena, a guilt ridden lawyer who prosecuted him for a crime he did not commit, and team up with him to take revenge on the real culpritswith with the help and support of Arjuns fiancée Sangeeta.

After his father's retirement, the onus is on Bharat to look after his Delhi-based family. He has two younger college-going brothers, Deepak and Vijay, and a sister of marriage age, Radha. Bharat is a graduate, but is unable to secure any employment, much to the frustration of his girlfriend, Sheetal. Vijay takes step to secure his own future, by turning to crime, which is strongly opposed by Bharat, and as a result Vijay leaves the house. Mohan is Sheetal's boss, and finds her very attractive. When he proposes marriage, she accepts, and soon both are married. This leaves Bharat devastated, unable to deal with life, and unable to afford the basic needs of Roti (food), Kapada (clothing), and Makaan (shelter), he must now decide to carry on honestly, or otherwise
