Biography
Li was born in 1953, in Chengdu. He graduated from the East China Institute of Geology (now East China University of Technology) with a major in applied geophysics. In 1989, he received an MBA degree from WakeForest University in the United States. In 2000 he founded Laolei Film Company and Beijing Laolei Film and Television Culture Co., Ltd.
