Vala is editing the film, looking into Ragnheiður's books and examining footage related to her, including an old interview with Ragnheiður that she listens to on video. Ragnheiður's books about Þóra frá Havmmur are particularly dear to Vala's heart, and she imagines scenes and events from the books as if she were Þóra herself. Suddenly, Ragnheiður comes to life on the screen and starts talking to Vála, answering various nagging questions that are on her mind.
