This new set is the first collection of Miles's Third Great Quintet, the "Lost" Band of 1968-1970 with Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Dave Holland, and Jack DeJohnette at their peak (they were never recorded in the studio). The album captures the short-lived quintet in three separate concert settings, starting with two full-length (one hour-plus) sets at the Antibes Jazz Festival in France, in Stockholm as part of "The Newport Jazz Festival In Europe," and completed with a stunning 46-minute performance at the Berlin Philharmonie, filmed in color. On July 15, 2004, Santana took to the stage in Montreux accompanied by a stunning line-up of guests to perform a concert of songs about peace and understanding that they dubbed "Hymns For Peace". Joining the regular Santana line-up in the band were Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Ravi Coltrane and Idrissa Diop with further guest appearances through the night from Angelique Kidjo, Barbara Morrison, Patti Austin, Sylver Sharp, Steve Winwood and Nile Rodgers.

Motian In Motion is a documentary film about iconic jazz drummer Paul Motian, with rare footage of Paul playing and recording at the world renowned Village Vanguard, Birdland and other venues.

Groundbreaking keyboardist Chick Corea takes the stage at Iowa State University with bassist John Patitucci and drummer Dave Weckl to perform a rousing set of songs of electric jazz fusion, a genre Corea helped define during the 1960s. This 1985 concert showcases the trio's wizardry on tunes such as "King Cockroach," "Malaguena," "Rumble," "India Town" and "Sidewalk." This program also features a biography of the band.

During this period, Davis toured Europe with the quintet of Shorter, Corea, Holland and DeJohnette. The group’s repertoire included material from Bitches Brew, In a Silent Way, the 1960s quintet albums, and an occasional standard. This DVD comprises two of those memorable concerts, one in Copenhagen and the other in Rome.
