Biography
Ben Ayres is an English musician best known as the guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and co-founder of the indie rock band Cornershop. He formed the critically acclaimed group in 1991 alongside frontman Tjinder Singh, whom he met while studying at Lancashire Polytechnic in Preston. Beyond his work with the band, Ayres has balanced his music career by working as a press officer for the independent record label Rough Trade Records.
