Set in the north of Argentina. Yolanda, a young girl of Wichi origin, tells in her native language (Wichi Lhämtes), the story of how, as a family maid in a "criollo" home, she has her hair unjustly cut: this is her most particular trait, her beauty. This event jeopardizes her cultural ties with the "criollo" world and defines her destiny.

After her mother’s death, Magali returns to her native town in the argentine north. The threatening presence of a puma that eats animals and appears in dreams unsettles the town. Magali’s approaches her son, together they will fulfill the family duty on which depends their own prosperity

In the 90s, members of the Wichí community of Gral. Mosconi, northeast of the province of Salta, searched for evidence and prepared the necessary arguments to face a judicial dispute that required them to demonstrate with evidence the possession and ownership of their property. territory.
