SerafĂn is a Mexican children's telenovela produced by JosĂ© Alberto Castro for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from August 30 to December 17, 1999. It stars Maribel Guardia, Eduardo Santamarina, Jordi Landeta, and features the voice of MarĂa Fernanda Morales as SerafĂn. The telenovela was the first Mexican production to incorporate digitally created animated characters into a live-action telenovela. The story follows SerafĂn, a cheerful but mischievous little angel who is sent to Earth to learn how to become a Guardian Angel. In Mexico City, he meets Pepe, an unhappy boy living with his mother, grandfather, and abusive stepfather. Determined to bring hope and happiness into Pepe's life, SerafĂn helps him and his friends overcome family conflicts, fear, and adversity while teaching lessons about love, friendship, kindness, and faith.
