Considered as the first Portuguese animated film, it shows António Maria da Silva, at the time the President of the Ministery of the 1st Republic of Portugal, who is returning home after another day's work. Of this silent movie, a digital reconstitution was made in 2006, from the original drawings, accompanied by an improvised piano score by maestro António Victorino d'Almeida.
The Nightmare of António Maria

Filmed on the beaches and in a mansion in the then 'flourishing' Copacabana, it starred a caricaturist and several figures from the journalism of that time.

Álvaro Ramos, an incorrigible bohemian, thrown out of the boarding house where he lived for lack of payment, finds fifty thousand réis on the street. He buys a lottery ticket number 013 and wins a big prize.
