In 1968-1970 he studied at the School of Arts at the Leningrad Academy of Arts, in 1976-1981 - at the acting department of the Higher Theater School. Slonova. Master of the course (teacher) at the First National School of Television and Film at the Russian State University of Design and Technology. Member of the Russian Investigative Committee, Member of the Director's Guild of the Russian Investigative Committee. He was the third husband of actress Margarita Terekhova.
