Oshima wakes up in the middle of a desert in South America with no memory. A woman named Coco is lying beside him. Coco tells Oshima that he was originally planning on crossing the desert with his girlfriend May to get to Snow Mountain, but May suddenly disappeared, leaving him at bay. Coco helped him out by chance, and now they're heading to Snow Mountain together.Perhaps May is already there...

It's the year 1999, Hei-shu, a long-term unemployed man, finally gets a job in a local musical band, performing at funerals and weddings. One day, Hei-shu's cat is missing. He later suspects that the cat has turned into a woman.

The film follows the meandering misadventures of an aimless medical school graduate who has never kept a job and wanders from the bed of one girl to another. He becomes caught between his flight attendant girlfriend who is often away and a high school girl who claims to be a lesbian. A mixture of fast living and brooding melancholy, Fluffy Rhapsody is an engaging, photogenic essay on the current generation of seemingly thoughtless, but in fact overly introspective urban youth.

Hebei origin, air-force officer retiree, Mr. Chou, now diligently learning Taiwanese, met “Chang Jiang No. 1,” China’s top secret agent during Sino-Japanese war, on a Peking opera’ seminar. Chou’s flat moon life has then been sparkled. He started to talk around about the heroic accomplishments this “Chang Jiang No.1” had done. This person, “who contributes most to China,” gradually becomes Chou’s only mark on the Moon. Is “homesickness” a gene? Inheritable? Transplantable? Can be parted or chosen? Contagious? Needs regular purging like computer viruses? … Through the story between Mr. Chou and “Chang Jiang No.1.” the film uses lively rhythm to represent the interesting homesickness issue. The director adopts a humorous way to re-present these new Taiwanese in Taiwan. As for whether “Chang Jiang No.1” is a real person or not is up to the audience to decide.

This film is a mix of documentary and drama, featuring interviews, acted scenes, and imaginative elements. It delves into Taiwan’s fashion scene and way of life, combining the perspectives of designers, workers, and consumers. The movie shows how individuals pursue ideals influenced by media and trends. Through its portrayal of fixations on youth, beauty, and consumerism, it raises the question: do we discover ourselves through fashion or lose our sense of self?

"We make memories in the journey and look for the evaporative emotions in the blurry memories. Facing the illusion of exotic language, GO-RAKU-EN deconstructs the estranged and complicated feelings of lovers and tries to reflect the essence of loneliness. Eventually, the reality of the sound restruct... Wu used images and sounds taken from the trip to create the experimental piece Go-raku-en (後樂園). "It is so simple and pure. ... It's just that when you don't care that much, it's purity," said Wu, who feels that any form of art is an expression of thinking and an extension of liberty and freedom."

Missing was made as part of a series of short films meant to combine poetry and imagery. Wu did not use a poem as inspiration. Instead, he turned a touching story he once taught his students into an animated fairy tale about a boy who runs off to India to catch mice, and finds himself farther and farther from home.
