After five years of marriage, Beth and Peter Marsh's life together is a series of rows and reconciliations. Daniel Rankin, who lives in the same apartment building, becomes attracted to Beth and arranges with the Marsh chauffeur to have her car break down, allowing him to offer assistance and gracefully introduce himself; Rankin later invites her to a dance. Resenting Rankin's attentions to his wife, Peter forbids her to go. However, Beth accompanies Rankin to spite her husband, and Rankin proposes that she divorce Peter and become his wife. Sweethearts Jimmie Carter and Bessie Barnes work for Adolph Brock at the Acme Corporation. One day while he is out for a drive in his jalopy of a car, Jimmie spies a pretty young woman on horseback. He comes to her rescue after she falls off her horse and gets injured, he leading her to refuge in an abandoned cabin when it starts to rain heavily. Although she flirts with him, he, in turn attracted to her, wants to remain faithful to Bessie and resists his urges. When this woman mysteriously disappear on him, he can't stop thinking about her and follows her innuendo to meet with her at her apartment. All the while, he is unaware that she is Peggy Joyce, Brock's gold-digging fiancée. He is also unaware that Peggy has ulterior motives for coming on to him, which, in combination with her dangerous past, could lead to complications for all involved.

Ailing ranch owner Al Auchincloss (Harry Lorraine) sends for his two nieces, Helen and Bo Raynor (Claire Adams and Charlotte Pierce), who are his heirs. Milt Dale, who lives in the forest (Gantvoort), comes down to help round up the cattle, and a romance springs up between him and Helen. This does not please Harvey Riggs (McKim), who is trying to get control of the ranch.

A rancher helps a pretty young girl and her brother fight off their stepfather, who is trying to take over their ranch, and in addition helps his father battle a gang of rustlers stealing cattle from his ranch.

Champion rodeo rider Richard Thurston is prevented from competing in a rodeo by the event's crooked chairman Riggs, who has bet a sizable amount of money on another rider and doesn't want to take a chance of losing it if Thurston competes and wins. As if that weren't enough, Riggs also frames Thurston for the theft of money from Daisy Hollister, the owner of the ranch where Thurston works. Complications ensue.

Someone in India is deciphering secret codes and passing information from London's Downing Street to the natives, so Captain Robert Kent comes down from London to investigate. He disguises himself as a Rajah, and Colonel Wentworth introduces him to the colony.

Strathmore takes care of the friend's daughter, who later falls in love with him. She forgives the past and they marry. A lost film.

A butler is persuaded to pretend to be a man's wife so that he can inherit a million dollars.

Tom Blake, en route to the bank to draw money to pay off the mortgage for Felton, his boss, is intercepted by Trumbull, acting for Purdy (who holds the mortgage). Blake escapes and swims ashore to a private school for girls. There he meets Marjorie, Felton's daughter, and on their way to the ranch they are kidnapped by Trumbull and taken to a deserted cabin.

Delmar Spavinaw, an educated "half-breed," loves Evelyn Huntington, daughter of a racist judge. Evelyn's other suitor is Ross Kennion, a widower with one child, and owner of a vast tract of land which Spavinaw insists belongs to his Indian mother. Spavinaw seeks revenge when Judge Huntington decides to evict the squaw. Assisted by Juan Del Rey, a cattle rustler, Spavinaw steals the title to the land, wounds Kennion, stages a raid on the judge's cattle, and attempts to kidnap Kennion's son and Evelyn. The arrival of the sheriff forces him into flight across the border without his hostages. En route he meets Doll Pardeau, a school friend of Evelyn's, and together they ride for the Mexican border. Caught between a cattle stampede and a sheriff's posse, the couple catch a passing freight train, leaving calamity behind as the train slowly passes.

Country girl Alice responds to an advertisement for a "movie school" that promises to transform her into a shining star in record time. Upon arriving at the school, Alice is immediately taken advantage of by the operators, who take her "bank roll". The school staff immediately begins a screen test to see how she "registers" in front of a camera, ordering her to perform various poses and emotional expressions to prove her potential.

A broken engagement sends a sweetheart on the trail for her near-husband-to-be, who is finally corralled at the bathing beach and landed in an automobile.

When his old prison-friend's daughter is about to wed a wealthy man, the friend steals a valuable pendant and gives it to the girl's father. The father, in turn and not realizing it is stolen goods, gives it to his daughter as a wedding present. But the law shows up looking for the pendant.
