A psychotic killer is on the prowl, who continues to slaughter young women while an innocent man is wrongly accused and sentenced for crimes he could never have committed. A determined detective arrives on the scene and soon becomes obsessed with the case while under pressure from the prosecutor to see a man hang.

Áron is a happy child in his family. But at some point things take a different turn, and his mother starts to lose her health rapidly. This social Drama tells the parallel stories of three families in rural Hungary today. The stories of a rich businessman, Árpád, his wife Franciska and their daughter Babita, a photographer called Gábor, his ceramist girlfriend Edina and a prison priest. Their destinies are linked. Many of them live or have lived in the same city and their lives upended by the secrets and crimes that are revealed over a period of 10 years.
