A story of middle-class professional couples who employ full-time live-in nannies to look after their children. The nannies meet up as a collective group, and often discuss their employers' habits in sordid detail. As the plot develops, it becomes clear that most of the nannies are usually stuck in the middle of domestic unsettlement, affairs, neurotic partners, and manipulation.

Group of heroin smugglers finds shelter on abandoned oil rig after their ship had exploded. Soon they find that the oil rig was just cover for biological experiment. One of the results is Charlie - shape-shifting monster with ability to absorb the memory of its victims. However, even such creatures have their own bad habits.

With going to the police out of the question, Max and Nikki speed Tom to their desolate cottage deep in the Welsh countryside. With the luxury of space, Tom begins to realize a long-forgotten dream; a return to happier times before his innocence was shattered.
