Depicts Romania during World War II, focusing on the Royal Coup that toppled Ion Antonescu, the Axis-allied Conducător and authoritarian Prime Minister. Focused around the August 23rd 1944 coup against Marshal Antonescu, the movie also tackles other topics from the same era such as the Iron Guard rebellion and the execution of political leaders by communists.

At a party, the class valedictorian gravely injures a passer by with some saucers thrown through the window. Characters are tested by what follows.

Along the Black Sea coast, we see a man and a woman arguing. They are apparently vacationers. Before long, the man has gotten back into their car and driven off, stranding the woman in a remote area. She hitches a ride with a delivery truck driver. At one of his stops, she gets off his truck to go to get some water. When the driver comes back to his truck and sees her gone, he assumes she has found another ride, and leave her. Once again, she is stranded. This time, the location is a lighthouse. She and the keeper have no recourse but to become acquainted, and for the next few days, that is what they do. Eventually, the man who left her in the lurch comes back to look for her, and finds her at the lighthouse.

Several students spend their last days of high school in a cheerful and musical atmosphere. Petrica and 'Sunny Smile', who has become a fairy tale princess in the meantime, find their way back to each other, from the real world to the dream one and the other way around, in order to meet their love halfway between the two realms.

Marina, a girl from a stunt team, passively assists to everyone's rush to choose the protagonist without whom the filming cannot begin. After weeks of nothing happening, the director, reviewing the footage on the screen, is struck by the photogenic photo of a young girl in an extras scene, which no one can identify. Marina doesn't want to reveal the secret to those on the set because, more pragmatically, her goal is different: admission to cybernetics!

A circus family encounters hard times and family strife, but is brought into the limelight through their chance encounter with a polar bear cub.

A young, single engineer divides his time between work and an uneventful schedule at home, where TV is front and center. One rainy evening he is disturbed by a woman's phone call and finds himself drawn into an adventure full of the unexpected.
