Biography
(David) Justin Hayward OBE is an English musician, best known as guitarist, vocalist and composer for the rock band the Moody Blues from 1966-2018. In 1977, Hayward appeared on "Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds" concept album, including hit songs "Forever Autumn" and "The Eve of the War". As well as a successful solo musical career, Hayward has composed and performed for film and television. Hayward has participated in several stage productions of "Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds" between 2006 and 2022.

The Moody Blues: Live at the Isle of Wight Festival

In 2003 Alan Simon created GAIA, a humanitarian concept album dealing with the preservation of the environment and for which many artists responded to the call: Midnight Oil, Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues, Zucchero, Jane Birkin, Cesaria Evora, Billy Preston and others. GAIA, was played before 60,000 spectators in Zurich in early 2004. The album entered the Top five in Australia. A special edition with bonus DVD was also released.
