The detective tries to push the man away from his younger sister. The detective suspects that the man is somehow involved in the female university student murder case. The man and the detective's younger sister fall in love.

Fairy mother Wang-Mo and her daughter Chae-Hwa go down to the ground to have a bath at a hot spring, before Chae-Hwa is to get married. They see a bunch of extras for some kind of filming session and they are wearing fairy outfits. After taking their bath, they put on their fairy outfit. The try to go back up, but find themselves stil grounded. Se-Joo is the president of 2H Entertainment. He lives with his 2 children and his twin. His son Kook-Min, wants to become an actor, even though his acting skills are poor. His daughter Na-Ra is a model student. Se-Joo becomes upset after discovering his son is taking part in the filming. Along the way, Se-Joo happens to steal a glance at fairy mother Wang-Mo and her daughter Chae-Hwa taking a bath. He finds Chae-Hwa attractive, but leaves. Fairy mother Wang-Mo and her daughter Chae-Hwa go to the film shooting site to find their fairy outfits. They are handed the business for 2H Entertainment and told to go there to find their fairy costumes.

Two best friends, So-yool and Yeon-hee, dream of becoming the top artists in Seoul together. But their friendship doesn't last long as Yoon-woo, So-yool's first love and songwriter, falls in love with Yeon-hee and her voice. One day, Yi-rang fakes a fall in a race because she was afraid of losing. After the race, she decides to never run again. Soon, Yi-rang becomes friends with Soo-min, a new student from Seoul, and starts to ask herself about her future.

Ho-sang's car is overturned on a journey with his wife, Min-jeong. She falls into a coma because of this accident and Ho-sang is distressed by her condition. One day, he finds a man's signature on his wife's book titled [Sundays in August] and gets jealous. He finds out that the man and his wife were planning to visit a mountain villa, and he decides to visit the villa by himself. Meanwhile Si-nae, Min-jeong's doctor, is interested in Ho-sang and the book [Sundays in August]. Si-nae calls So-kook in a secondhand bookstore to order the out of print [Sundays in August]. This book reminds So-kook of his dead friend.
