A photographer Søren Kristiansen, is commissioned by producer Per Hansen to write the script for a porn video to be "realistic". What Hansen does not know is that Søren is in a relationship with Hansen's daughter Mette, and that it is her suggestion that the story be a direct description of her parents' sex life.

A young San Francisco college student is assigned to write a paper about a part of the city's cultural life. She picks the sex industry, and finds herself getting involved in an ever widening series of sexual adventures.

Story is pure corn: Linda is a secretary who moves from Fresno to San Francisco and can't land a job there. Endless shots of the back of her head (wearing a crappy, phony looking blonde wig) in various phone booths are used in this mainly MOS-shoot with voice-over to establish her boring job hunting. Maybe Gerber was hoping to move to England and get hired to shoot Dr. Who episodes.
