WWE Main Event is a professional wrestling television program produced by WWE that airs on Peacock and streams on Hulu Plus in the United States. The show features WWE wrestlers and complements WWE's primary programs Raw and SmackDown.

The American professional wrestling promotion WWE has been broadcasting PPV events since the 1980s, when its classic "Big Four" events (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series) were first established with the company's very first PPV being WrestleMania in 1985. Promociones Antonio Peña, S.A. de C.V. d/b/a Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (commonly referred to as simply AAA, pronounced "triple A" – an abbreviation of its original name Asistencia, Asesoría y Administración de Espectáculos,  'Attendance, Advisory, and Administration of Spectacles') is a Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) promotion based in Mexico City, Mexico. It was founded in 1992, when Antonio Peña broke away from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to set up his own promotion to have more creative freedom. On April 19, 2025 it was announced that AAA had been acquired by WWE.

The 2023 Backlash is the upcoming 18th Backlash professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and live streaming event produced by WWE. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, marking the first WWE event held in Puerto Rico since New Year's Revolution in 2005, and only the second event overall. After the previous two years were titled "WrestleMania Backlash", the 2023 event reverted to its original name, but maintained its post-WrestleMania concept, with the 2023 event based around the backlash from WrestleMania 39. Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny will serve as the host of the event.

The 2023 Payback is the upcoming seventh Payback professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event will take place during Labor Day weekend on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and will be the first Payback held since 2020.

NXT TakeOver 31 was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE for its NXT brand on October 4, 2020, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, headlined by Finn Bálor (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly for the NXT Championship.

Bound for Glory (2016) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It took place on October 2, 2016 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida.

Genesis (2014) was a special episode of Impact Wrestling and the ninth edition of Genesis professional wrestling event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on January 16, 2014 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The card was split between both the January 16 and the January 23 broadcasts of Impact Wrestling on Spike TV.
