Hugo Garza

The continuing story of Peacemaker, a vainglorious superhero/supervillain who believes in peace at any cost — no matter how many people he has to kill. After a miraculous recovery from his duel with Bloodsport, Peacemaker soon discovers that his freedom comes at a price.

Since his wife's death, Victor has raised his daughter Angela alone. After she and her friend return from a three-day disappearance with missing memories, they begin displaying frightening behavior reminiscent of the MacNeil possession fifty years prior.

‘Zombie in a Penguin Suit’ is based on the short story ‘What’s Black and White and Red All Over?’ written by San Francisco-based artist, author and musician Hugo Garza. For his 25th birthday, director Chris Russell was given Mr. Garza’s second anthology ‘What the Dead Leaves.’ He read the story and fell instantly in love, and knew he needed to see it filmed. "It is about a guy who becomes a zombie while wearing a giant penguin suit. Hilarity and sadness ensue."
